Yosemite National Park | Glacier Point Elopement | Carly & Matthew 

We’ve all seen that image of Glacier Point at Yosemite National Park. It’s a staple image showing off exactly what you can expect and see at Yosemite! Of course when you get to see it for yourself, it’s completely different than what you thought it would be. Basically mean it’s so much better! The first we saw Glacier Point we could not believe it and honestly it feels that way every time. Just a feeling of complete awe. Having a Glacier Point elopement will definitely give you that same feeling!

We were so lucky to be able to shoot Carly and Matthews elopement at Glacier Point. We wanted to show off the beauty of Yosemite and decided this was the best place to do it! Matthew had never been to Yosemite National Park before so as soon as we were all ready to face the cold at the crack of dawn, he was in absolute shock when he saw Glacier Point! After helping his soon to be bride get ready, Carly and Matthew were both excited to get to witness sunrise at this amazing location. Yosemite definitely did not disappoint! Even with the cold they bundled up together while awaiting the moment they were super excited to see. Once the sun had risen, we were the only ones left and we took full advantage of the morning.

They danced together, laughed together, and explored together. We continued our way around the area so they can see more of that tiny piece of Yosemite. It was a great morning elopement and something we are always so happy to see, a couple doing exactly what makes them happy and trying new experiences together.
