Yosemite National Park Elopement| Isabel & John 

Ahh, to say we love Yosemite would definitely be an understatement. We seriously can’t get enough of it. There is something just so magical about Yosemite, and we know so many people feel the same way we do about it. That is exactly how John and Isabel felt about Yosemite. Isabel and John, who are all the way from Rhode Island, had never been to Yosemite, but they absolutely fell in love with the idea of eloping there! Eloping was something they certainly wanted to do and what better place than Yosemite National Park. Once they got in touch with us we sent them our handy guide on everything they needed to know to elope in Yosemite National Park. They were definitely sold on the idea and we started to plan out their dream elopement! 

With being in the year 2020, of course we came across some challenges. Not only with Covid, but there were some pretty severe fires close to Yosemite that had to change their original elopement date. We definitely didn’t let that ruin their plans. We pushed the date back a bit, and honestly it was probably best we did! Isabel and John pretty much had Yosemite all to themselves. In all the times we had been to Yosemite, never had we seen it so empty! 

We started their day at sunrise, doing a first look at Glacier Point followed with their super intimate ceremony. Just the of them, their officiant, Ricard, (who by the way had some of the best dad jokes we had ever heard) and of course us. We stayed at Glacier Point for a while having a blast running around with them. One of our favorite things about their elopement was definitely Isabel’s beautiful tulle dress! It made it that much more epic with her running around and enjoying her day. She totally embraced the “dirty dress” vibes and loved that ombre look it gave off. We ended the day with an amazing sunset at Taft Point. It was a perfect way to end their elopement day and to end their trip in California. 

It was an amazing day and in the end we’re so happy John and Isabel were able to have their dream elopement in Yosemite National Park. Thank you Isabel and John for letting us be a part of your special day!
