Winter Yosemite National Park Elopement| Krystyna & Nicholas

Yosemite during fall and winter is so beautiful and amazing! No one thinks to go during those seasons since some of the “main” locations within the park are closed, such as Glacier Point and Taft Point. But going to Yosemite this last time was seriously such an eye opener for us. We, like many other people, had never visited during fall or winter time, we got extremely lucky by getting to experience both fall and winter on literally the same day! Yes! We drove around the valley and got to see all the beautiful fall colors and then turned a corner and was greeted by beautiful blankets of snow! I sound like a broken record, but seriously Yosemite is really an amazing place, no matter when you come and visit. 

Krystyna and Nicolas first reached out to us in the beginning of the year. They already had their heart set on eloping in Yosemite National Park. But of course 2020 had a lot of challenges for many so we didn’t get back to planning until later in the year. They reached out again and we decided on a date in November. We had their elopement all planned out when of course another challenge came our way, the weekend before their elopement it snowed crazy hard in Yosemite. This changed plans quite a bit, but when you’re planning on doing an adventure elopement it’s all about going with the flow!

The day started off at their awesome Airbnb located right in the park. We then headed to Tunnel view for a first look and their ceremony. Krystyna and Nicohlas had their daughter and closest family and friends with them as they said their I Do’s. Later we explored more of Yosemite and was able to get a fall backdrop and winter backdrop just by driving around a bit! It was an amazing day spent in Yosemite! We ended the day right back at Tunnel View and we all watched the sunset together. 

Another great elopement day in Yosemite National Park and we loved spending the day with Krystyna and Nicholas and their family!
