Redwood Grove Engagement Session |Hayli & Sam

Southern California has a lot of beautiful locations to have your engagement session. One of our favorite hidden gems is Redwood Grove located in Carbon Canyon in Orange County! It’s located only about 2 hours from Los Angeles with traffic, cause you know we always have traffic in Southern California . But yes, you read that right, redwoods in Southern California! The redwoods here are definitely not as large as the ones in Northern California, but they are still just as beautiful. 

When Hayli and Sam reached out to us for their engagement session. They weren’t really sure where they wanted to go for their shoot yet. So we sent them our guide on some of our favorite spots close to Los Angeles. They saw Redwood Grove and loved it! We were so happy they chose this location since we hadn’t been in a while! 

So we headed out and once we got there, they were super surprised by how many redwood trees there were! We were also pretty lucky having most of the place to ourselves. We had so much fun hanging with Hayli and Sam. They told us in advance they were a little camera shy but oh my gosh they were so photogenic it made the session so much fun! You can see they were so in love and so fun and silly together. We all had so many laughs and there was no shortage of conversations. We talked about their move from South Carolina, their bucket list for California, the amazing Disneyland proposal story and so much more.
